The repair technique we adopted to undertake this task was said by the boiler manufacturer to be impossible.

What the manufacturer said:
Our proposed repair method was impossible.
It would take them 5 months to manufacture new parts and get them to site.
The contract would take 10 months to complete.
The cost would be in excess of £1million.

What CH Thompson accomplished:
Achieved what was said to be impossible.
On site within 4 weeks, fully equipped.
Completed contract within 5 months.
Total cost of £1/4million.
